There is a Chinatown in Yokohama, but it is a tourist spot, so it is not like there are any amazing places to eat. Seifuro is one of the older, more historic ones, so I gave it a try.. and the food turned out to be pretty old-school.
The entrance to Chinatown
COVID was at its peak, so there were hardly any people around..
Seifuro
The name is written 清風楼.. it is a place with a bit of history in this neighbourhood.
The shumai is what they are known for, apparently.
Look closely and there is an article about a celebrity who came here too.
Fried rice
A serious mountain of carbs.. and the price is up there too.. The taste was rather old-fashioned. I ordered noodles as well but I have no photo of them.. that too was the sort of thing that must have been popular back in the day.

Shumai
It is decent enough, but for the price it is a bit of a letdown. Still, if you want to feel some history.. I think it is worth a visit for someone like that..
