The Paradise City hotel is a lot bigger, and it opened not that long ago so it’s clean — I’d originally planned to spend our staycation there.. but it turns out their policy isn’t exactly kid-friendly. So we went to the Grand Hyatt instead, and I think that was absolutely the right call. For one thing, there’s some kind of heavy scent inside the hotel that left me light-headed.. probably because of the casino. On the plus side there’s plenty to look at, so it’s a great place to come and wander around.

There really are quite a few restaurants here that look like the kind wealthy Chinese guests would use..

There was a fairly big cafe so I went in, and the place is a cut above anything you’d see downtown.

The Paradise City hotel turned out to be a place where you can have something of a special experience. Probably because of the casino. Next time I’d like to actually stay over, look at the art and try the theme park BLACKPINK advertises, but I doubt that’ll happen any time soon..
