Jooo’s Dimsum + Noodle is a well-known spot in Garosu-gil. I hear the queue got so long that they even moved once. It’s close to my habitat, but a long line usually keeps me away — this day it was short, so in I went.
The front entrance
Very modern. There are a lot of distinctive places to eat around here.
Side dishes
Siu mai
They turned out to be mild, with the flavor of the ingredients coming through. I figured this is a place women would go for.
Beef noodle soup
I ordered from the noodle side too, and even the beef noodle soup, which you’d expect to be punchy, isn’t. Maybe that’s why it’s popular with women. It tasted good, of course.
Bok choy
In place of a salad..
Xiaolongbao
It was pretty good.
I’d say it’s a place that fits the Garosu-gil concept perfectly. A middle-aged guy like me is a bit out of place there, but the food is good, so no complaints.
