Maison Jo is a place that’s been getting a lot of buzz on Instagram. I was curious, so I dropped by.

It’s tucked away near a residential area.

You can also eat in, and that seemed like a better idea than taking things home. Same price either way, after all… Someday I’ll have to come back with a like-minded crew.

I enjoyed them as a snack with whisky, but… I have a feeling they’d go even better with wine.

Canelé

This place is famous for its desserts. The gâteau basque and all the other well-known items were sold out, so this was the only thing I could buy… but it was a high-quality dessert all the same. I’d love to go back, but the chance never seems to come up.
