Maybe because it’s a wealthy neighborhood, there are a few well-known spots for meal breads, bagels in particular. I stopped by since I was in the area. Carbs everywhere..
They sell three kinds of bagels.
They’re called Fuka, Mochi and Mugyu, apparently..
The inside looks roughly like this..
I bought some and tried them at home..
It feels like a premium version of a regular bagel. Unlike a regular bagel, it’s got a nice chew to it, too.
