Hormone Zaichi is a yakiniku and horumon (offal) place in Hamamatsucho. I’d heard the lunchtime hamburg steak was famous, so I went to check it out.

Wagyu hamburg steak

It’s a pretty greasy style. So yes, it’s tasty, but there’s also a slight feeling that it gets a bit much after a while.

Motsu nikomi (simmered offal)

There’s an onsen tamago (soft-boiled egg) in it, and this dish cuts through the richness of the hamburg steak.

Break it open like this…

It’s a place I’d like to go back to, if only for the nikomi.
