Dessert first, then off for a proper meal at Songjeong Haebyeon Makguksu. Why makguksu? Well, we were in Gangwon-do, and tofu was already on the menu for the next day, so this was the pick. And you know what, the place had a nice vibe. Worth a stop if you’re in town on a trip.

This is makguksu you eat for the sesame and seaweed flavor. Not bad at all, but it’s very much a crowd-pleaser rather than something a serious foodie would go out of their way for…

This one was nicely chewy and tasty. Generous portion, too.

The beach

It was hot and we had too much luggage, so we never actually made it onto the beach. Seems like a nice spot for a casual little trip, though.
