May in Odaiba is famous for its Oktoberfest. Never mind that it’s not October.
It’s roughly this kind of vibe
Forget the taste of the beer or the snacks, the weather was so nice that it was just perfect for a drink outdoors.
This kind of vibe.
Lots of people.
I ordered a glass here.
A brewery founded in 1040, apparently.
One glass.
Everything looked good, so I ended up picking a stall by the snacks rather than the beer itself.
The snack is sausage, of course.
The thing is, everyone else comes in groups, but I had to drink alone, so I didn’t have many options. The lines were long too.
This kind of menu
Beer snacks.
Niku Fes
I went to Niku Fes last year too, but this year there wasn’t much I wanted to eat compared to last year. It also felt like the idols had become the main event.
Nice weather.
It’s May, after all.
The meat I ordered.
Well, it was just okay.
I spotted an interesting stall in the distance.
Ken’s Cafe special chocolate and premium banana.
I bought one.
Tastier than the meat.
DJing
Not many people over here.
The idol stage.
Well, nothing special. I don’t think I’ll come back next year.
