Liquor Mountain has been in Ginza for a while now, but for some reason they’ve opened a more serious GINZA777. Well… nothing wrong with that.

This is the place.

It’s right in the heart of Ginza. Pretty easy to find.

What’s great about this shop

You can do paid tastings of all sorts of spirits. Similar to Liquors Hasegawa.

Pricey and rare bottles are included too.

Totally welcome. It’s a great way to broaden your experience.

How the tasting works

Very helpful. Liquor Mountain is such a big company that they get the details right.

Today’s tasting

The Knockdhu had a chocolate flavour from heavy sherry cask influence. Excellent value for money. The Aultmore 20 Year was very well made too. Good whiskies just keep coming.
