Tokyo Station gets so much traffic that it has quite a few interesting shops.

Apparently it is a butter sandwich cookie specialty shop produced by BAKE, the Jiyugaoka brand famous for its cheese tarts. The line is pretty long, too.

That said, it is not tasty enough to be worth the wait. Don’t let the hype get you, folks..

I have no idea whether they taste good, but they sure make pretty desserts. I bought a few as gifts.

These days there are so many more places selling incredibly stylish desserts, the kind you see on Instagram. There were a few inside Tokyo Station too. Being an aesthetic Instagrammer myself, I did wonder whether I ought to buy some, but unless someone else is going to eat them for me, I should stick to the ones that are actually known to taste good.
