Hamamatsucho is full of salarymen, so there are plenty of ramen shops too. I’ve tried a few, and among them a place called Kuroobi (“black belt”), which makes its soup from Rishiri kombu from Hokkaido, was especially good.
The shop
Clean, tidy atmosphere.
Kuroobi ramen
The broth has no MSG, so it doesn’t weigh on you at all. If you’re worn out by punchy, aggressive ramen, do stop by here once.
Gyoza
Not bad.
Chashu-don
There was a serious amount of meat. This one’s satisfying too. It’s been a while since I found a ramen shop I really like.
