I heard a rumor that a new dessert café had opened near Hanti, so I hurried over to check it out.

It is a really pretty shade of pink, but since I went in the evening the photo did not come out too well.

Of all the dessert cafés I have been to in Korea, this was the second most stunning after the Dior café. Following Unas and Little & Much, lovely places keep multiplying along the Bundang Line.

Épice

The level is high. Highly recommended.. I got there around 8 in the evening that day, so I was disappointed not to get a few of the cakes I had originally meant to buy, but every cake I could buy was delicious, so I left satisfied. For the record they seem to stay open until 9, and I cannot think of another cake shop that stays open this late.

Mousse aux rouge

It tasted even more impressive than it looks. This is a level that would hold its own anywhere in the world, New York, Tokyo, Paris, you name it.

Kipferl

These are baked confections that keep for a long time, and they seemed like they would go nicely with tea. As always, a shop that does one thing well tends to do everything else well too. Dessert shops seem to be popping up around Hanti Station lately, and I hope the natural competition keeps bringing us high-level desserts going forward.
