You do not actually see many cafes on Bangbae-dong’s so-called cafe street, but either way it is packed with good restaurants. Among them, Jangsuwon is famous for its bulgogi, and I heard a rumor that their Pyeongyang naengmyeon is good too, so I went on one hot summer day.

It costs 10,000 won. For Gangnam that is about average, I suppose. The buckwheat content is high, so it had that rough texture I like. The broth was tasty too, and personally I felt this might be the closest thing to Woo Lae Oak you can get in Gangnam.
The side dish
It was so hot that I had no chance to take pictures of the place. I went alone and only had the naengmyeon, but going with two or three people, having some bulgogi first and finishing with naengmyeon would be a nice way to do it. I wonder if anyone would like to come along with me.
