Un Grain, a Dessert Shop in Aoyama

The very first place I stopped at after arriving in Tokyo, without even unpacking my bags, was Un Grain. The luggage was heavy, but with my schedule, if I didn’t drop by that day there would be no next time..

Being my second visit, it was easier to find this time. It’s called Aoyama, but it’s quite a walk in from the station. Going straight there from the airport took a body of steel..

Small as they are, the flavor is concentrated. This time I kept it simple and bought twelve.. since I’m planning to come back again soon.

The cakes

Last time the cafe wasn’t open so I couldn’t eat here, but this time I had a little leeway, so I ordered something light. They said they had no herbal tea, so I had water instead.

Just as I expected, they’re delicious. Each one has a clear character. I’d love to try the other cakes too, but that’s not easy to do right now.

Nice touch.

After a good meal I bought a big bundle of gifts and left. I’ll definitely be back here soon.
