Cafe de Paris in Bupyeong

I’d heard that Cafe de Paris, the place everyone’s been talking about lately, had a branch in Bupyeong, so I went to check it out.

It’s on the third floor of a building in the nightlife district.

The whole area is bars, so why there’s a cafe here is a bit of a mystery…

They’ve got a vaguely Parisian vibe going on.

The name is a bit tacky, so honestly I wasn’t expecting much, but the interior is clean and I can see why it’s popular.

The popular Mango Bonbon

They use genuinely good-quality mango. Not frozen, not sour, and I really enjoyed it. I’d seen branches popping up all over the place and just assumed it was another chain, but it turns out they’ve got a real ace up their sleeve.

I think the days of looking down on a place just because it’s a chain are over. The restaurant business moves so fast these days.
