Desserts Eaten at Home

I never used to bring desserts home; I would eat them at the shop and leave. But lately the pattern has completely flipped, and I end up taking most of my desserts home. The photos are a bit messy, but it felt odd not to write about them at all, so here they all are in one go.

Chocolate cake from 17℃

home dessert

It tastes really good, but the downside is that at a glance it looks like a block of muk (Korean jelly).. the visuals, hmm..

The sky one day

home dessert

Every time I take a photo like this I get the itch to upgrade my camera..

Cakes from Hôtel Douce

home dessert

They turned out to be more so-so than I expected.

Doux Moment

home dessert

As expected..

home dessert

So good T_T

Gipfel

home dessert

It is a Japanese-style Danish bread that Hôtel Douce brought in,

I mean, look at this..

home dessert

The butter just clings to it, you could say.. There is no way something made like this could taste bad.

Autumn chocolates from Läderach

home dessert

They had a real autumn feel. Even though it is spring now..

Mafia Dessert

home dessert

It is supposedly the famous tiramisu from Itaewon, and it really is delicious. The generous portion made it even more satisfying.

A pound cake from Young-ah of Wonder

home dessert

The work of a true expert

home dessert

It tasted great, but it crumbled easily, which was a bit of a shame..

The second gift I received

home dessert

I was given perfect cookies and a cake.

home dessert

They were so delicious I could not help but marvel.

Échiré ice cream

home dessert

For some reason this turned up while I was cleaning out the freezer. It must have been about a year old.. it had picked up a bit of that fridge smell, but it still tasted fine.

Hokkaido-limited Hi-Chew

home dessert

It is a caramel, but surprisingly it tasted of melon.

A Christmas special cake

home dessert

I think it was from Oliver Sweet, if I remember right.. the taste was ordinary

LeTAO’s fromage in a jar

home dessert

It is pricey, and honestly the plain Double Fromage cake tastes better..

Blueberry roll cake from Huckleberry

huckleberry

I am not really a roll-cake person and do not go out of my way for them, but Huckleberry does them really well. I hope they stay open and do good business. Part of me wishes they had opened somewhere like Hongdae instead.

Magnolia Bakery cake and banana pudding

banyantree

The banana pudding was unexpectedly amazing. It looks ordinary, but no.

Red velvet cake

banyantree

The cupcakes are tasty and the cake is decent too. Delicious, but so high in calories that I am not exactly craving more.
