I heard there was a popular Vietnamese rice noodle place in Sinchon called Mibundang, so I went to check it out.

I heard they were opening a second branch too, but I cannot quite remember where.

It was okay, nothing more. If you pay in cash they throw in a little something extra on the house.

And here is the famous rice noodle soup

It was not Vietnamese at all. The portion is big and it is absolutely loaded with meat, so it is satisfying in that sense, but it is just too Korean. I could not help thinking that if they had opened a seolleongtang place instead, it would have been a smash hit.. It was just so-so for me, but I suspect most other people would be very happy with it.

Cilantro

Eaten as is it is a bit bland, so you have to pile on the cilantro. With so many decent Vietnamese restaurants popping up lately, there are plenty of places to try, and I have a feeling I will not be coming back here.
