Epicure is the only gourmet club I am active in. For someone as unsociable as me to keep going for years on end is practically a miracle. So even though I have been visiting Jinjin back to back lately, once I was invited to the gathering there was no way I could skip it. If I do not even show up here, my social life ceases to exist..

The meetup was on a Monday, and as those in the know will know, Monday is Jinjin’s regular day off. So we had the whole place to ourselves for the day. It was the biggest gourmet gathering since the 10th anniversary party, and just as much fun.

The prawns are really big. And they have to be big to taste good~

They definitely did not hold back on the Sichuan pepper.

There is no photo of the dessert I brought. I had brought chocolates from the Peninsula Hotel, and they were better than expected, so they vanished in an instant before I could even take a picture.

I never expected this many cakes for dessert. Sure, it was a big group, but there had been just as much food too. By the way, word is the chef at Reminis is a real beauty.. cough..
