Buccella is a sandwich specialist that has been on Garosu-gil for ages. It has a reputation of its own, especially for the bread it bakes in-house. I’m not that big on sandwiches, so I never thought I’d end up here, but that day I went out for tacos for lunch, they had run out of ingredients, and I went looking for the closest thing I could find, which is how I landed here.

Juice

A bit of a shame it isn’t fresh-squeezed juice. Lots of new shops are opening on Garosu-gil, and some of them are proper juice specialists. It would be fun if they collaborated with places like that, but sadly this neighbourhood doesn’t really have that kind of vibe. It probably doesn’t help that the shares have already been sold off to a big corporation and it has been turned into a chain.

Taco Chicken

Good quality. The bread in particular was excellent. Of course there are a lot more places serving bread at this level these days, but if they’ve been at this level since way back, no wonder they built a reputation.

Buccella

This is the house signature. There aren’t that many places this good on Garosu-gil, and the prices are fairly reasonable too. It would have been even better if the juice had been decent; thinking back, I should have just ordered water.
