For a while I was completely hooked on Lady M and kept getting takeout over and over, until one evening I finally went to sit down at the cafe itself.

Tables

I like the calm interior. The stylish-looking chairs weren’t all that uncomfortable either.

Teapot

It fits the mood of the cafe nicely. They’ve paid attention right down to the little things, and strong details are what make a great place.

Hourglass

This one works with the bubbles rising in reverse. It’s fun to watch.

Chocolate crepe

Rich, as expected. You can’t really taste the crepe layers, but if you just think of it as a chocolate cake, there aren’t many cakes that can match it.

Matcha crepe

Refreshing, but sweeter than I expected. For me the plain mille crepes suits me better.

Peppermint

I ordered a clean-tasting tea to go with the sweet cake. Just the fact that it doesn’t come as a tea bag is something to be grateful for. This is a place that keeps to the global standard rather than the Korean standard, which makes me like it even more.

Rooibos Chocolate Heaven

There was a tea with a fun name, so I tried it, and it really did have a strong chocolate aroma. The taste is that of an ordinary rooibos tea, though. Of course the clean peppermint went better with the cake, but it’s not bad to have a curious experience like this once in a while.

Tea

Rather than having it with cake, I’d like to just brew it at home. I’ll have to track some down separately later.
