The cookies here are so good that I couldn’t help going back, even though it’s a long way.
The front entrance
I tried to visit again the other day, but it was a Sunday and they were closed. With a small shop like this you really have to check the closing days and opening hours.
The cookies I bought this time
At around 700 yen a bag they are not cheap. I used half as gifts and ate the rest, and they were gone in no time. Every kind was delicious, but the citron cookie is still the best. Sadly there was only one this time.
Cakes
Besides the cookies there is quite a range of desserts. To try them all I’d have to live in this neighbourhood.. and it’s an expensive one.
Parfait and savarin
They said the Savarin l’ete was in the fridge and I really wanted it, but I couldn’t buy it this time. The next place on my list was one with a long queue, so there was no choice. It’s a cake I love, so that was a shame.
The kitchen
It’s a tiny place. The patissier makes everything himself. After buying about 6,000 yen worth of pastries alone, I had a little chat with him, and he really is a remarkable pastry craftsman. I’d love to come often.. it’s just a pity I can hardly find the time..

Once it cools down a bit I’ll have to drop by again and clean the place out.
A cat
On the way back I met a cat, and it was being unbelievably cute. I had no choice but to play with it for a while.
