After grilling and eating a mountain of meat at Kameido Horumon, we went to a soba place nearby for round two. Nice atmosphere in there.

Goes well with drinks.
Bamboo shoots
A spring dish. It was on the menu, so I ordered it.
Firefly squid with nanohana
This one is a spring dish too. Restaurants in Japan serve a lot of dishes with a real sense of the season, so you rarely get bored no matter how often you go.
Swordfish
A light, clean taste that washes away the greasiness of the offal.
Soba
Not top-tier, but pretty decent.
Kameido has quite a few good restaurants. Seems worth digging into a bit more.
