With spring here I felt like going out somewhere, and while wondering where to go I decided to try Blue Note Tokyo, which I had never been to. Honestly the point was going to Blue Note Tokyo itself, so I did not think much about whose show it was, but the next day there happened to be a show by Fourplay, a fairly well-known fusion band. From Asakusa to Aoyama you can get there on the Ginza Line without changing trains, which was convenient.
Sandwich
Since it is a club, the nice thing is that you can eat while watching the show. The food is on the high end too. Because of that, a night out watching a show costs quite a bit, but I guess that is exactly why Blue Note Tokyo could become a world-famous jazz club.
Salami and cured ham
Decent quality, though I think we ordered a bit too much. We had already eaten a lot at 23banchi Cafe.
A beer called Zeitgeist and a champagne cocktail called Moonlight
The beer was on the bitter side, and the Moonlight tasted a bit odd too.

French fries
I missed taking a photo of these, so I shot what was left on the next table. The potatoes come in curly spirals, and they were so good with just the right amount of salt that I could not stop eating them. A whole different class from the sloppy fries you get at places like McDonald’s or Burger King. I had good fries at bills Omotesando before, but Blue Note Tokyo’s were a step above even those. That fries this delicious exist in this world.. honestly it was an even better experience than the jazz show..
