There was a furniture fair in Makuhari, so off I went. This time I really should not walk around until I collapse like last time (T_T)
A cake shop inside Akihabara Station
A proper cake shop (FLO PRESTIGE) had opened inside Akihabara Station, so I took a photo. Is there anything you cannot find inside a station these days..
After a good look around the furniture and buying a dining table and a sofa, I headed to Budoutei, the Italian restaurant in the WBG building, for a meal.

This is how they serve their meat sauce pasta. The taste was decent enough.
Genovese-style pizza with basil sauce and tomato
A proper wood-fired pizza. This is my favourite restaurant in the area. On weekdays it overflows with office workers, but on weekends there is hardly anyone, oddly enough. That made it much easier to enjoy.

The line is always so long that I used to give up and go home, but today there was nobody, so I went in.

It turned out to be a croissant specialist (Cafe Croissant). I bought one and tried it, and I can see why it is popular.

Samgyeopsal at a restaurant in Shin-Okubo
It felt odd to give this its own post, so I am tucking it into the Makuhari post. I had an appointment in Shin-Okubo, and the atmosphere there has changed a lot. It has become more polished overall, probably thanks to the Korean Wave boom. The quality of the meat at the place I went to that day was good. I remember the restaurants in Shin-Okubo being nothing special in the old days, but this was pretty good. Apart from the price, it does not feel much different from Korea.
