After a barbecue that went off beautifully, a few of us got together for a second round. D’ange is a cafe in Hapjeong-dong, and apparently it’s the flagship store of Histoire d’Ange in Hongdae. We’d eaten and drunk so well at the first round that this second round was mostly dessert.
Framboise cake
It looked showy so I gave it a try, and it was decent enough. The people eating with me said it was less than they’d expected, but I enjoyed mine.
Drinks and the D’ange
No surprise here, but it tastes exactly the same as at Histoire d’Ange.
Mont Blanc
It was pretty good.
The D’ange flagship sells bread too, and the cafe has a nice atmosphere. It turned out to be a better spot than I’d expected.
