Lately I have been completely hooked on sundae, so I have been going around tracking down the famous places. I had something to do in Hongdae this day as well, and I found this place while looking up good restaurants nearby on Blue Ribbon.
Front entrance
It sits on an alley where the gisa sikdang, the diners for taxi drivers, are clustered. Good restaurants run in a row further up from here, so you could call it the starting point of the Yeonnam-dong food scene.

The head meat is excellent quality and the sundae is delicious too. I was worried the portion might be small, but once I ate it I was completely full.
Sundae-guk
I was a little unhappy that it was not piping hot, but the flavour itself is good. Next time I order I will have to ask them to make it hot.
Number one among the sundae-guk places I have been to recently. I really enjoyed every bite. It is just a shame that Hongdae is a bit far, so I do not have many occasions to go (and even when I do, it is for a meetup).
