I had no idea, but there’s a branch of Pyeongyang Myeonok in Jamwon-dong. Pyeongyang Myeonok is a really great naengmyeon place, so I’d been wanting to give it a try. I often don’t carry my camera these days, so I’m just posting photos I took with my phone.

I remember it being a bit pricey, but the quality was really good. Pyeongyang Myeonok’s reputation is well deserved.
Naengmyeon
The subtle, mild broth is superb. As expected, I really enjoyed it. I drained every last drop of the broth, too. Glad there’s a pretty decent spot near my home turf. I won’t be able to drop by often, but it’s definitely one to remember.
