Even though it isn’t far from Osaka, for some reason I’d never been to Nara until now. I wasn’t all that interested, to be honest. This time I got the chance to look around. Seeing it in person, Todaiji really is magnificent. It’s well worth a visit at least once.
As we got into the city of Nara, the autumn leaves in the park were at their peak. The paths were packed with families and couples.
