A place I’d never seen before opened up in Shinjuku, so I went to check it out. It didn’t look like a great restaurant, but I was curious anyway. The fact that it served Okinawan food also caught my attention…
It’s three minutes from the East Exit of Shinjuku Station. A really convenient location.

How do I put it… it’s terrible. The noodles especially are terrible. Not even cup-noodle noodles are this bad…

Compared to what I had in Okinawa it’s pretty mediocre, but it’s edible enough.
Since it’s a set meal, rice comes with it too.
All together
On its own it’s 580 yen, so I should have just ordered it by itself. The food is nothing special, but the location is incredibly convenient. The drinks are cheap too, and you can get Orion beer. It seems like a great spot for one last drink with friends in the evening before heading home. It’s handy to know places like this. I’m slowly getting used to life in Tokyo.
