Naha Airport
The airport is just five minutes from the city. There’s a monorail linking it to town, but in Okinawa renting a car is handier in all sorts of ways. Public transport isn’t all that well developed, you see.
Ashibinaa Outlet Mall
I stopped by the DFS too, but there really wasn’t much to it. It isn’t cheap either. The outlet, on the other hand, is pretty big and had a decent line-up of brands.
DFS
It’s in Omoromachi, the heart of Okinawa. They sell brand goods at prices that barely knock off the tax. The only nice thing, I guess, is that they hand you some chocolate on the house when you visit.
Kokusai-dori, Okinawa’s main street, sort of like Myeongdong back home in Korea.
A street for young people, you could say.
This is the market right in the middle of it.
If you’re buying souvenirs, this is probably the cheapest place in Okinawa.

They sell American-made clothes and the like. It’s a kind of tourist theme park.

Looks like the kind of place young people flock to in summer.
It was raining, so I couldn’t even take a look at the beach. Next time I really want to go when the weather’s nice.
