Senso-ji in Asakusa, which I visited on this Tokyo trip. Back when I lived near Tokyo I never once felt like going, but somehow I ended up there this time. Well… since I was there anyway, might as well take some souvenir photos… -_-;

This is what it looks like. I never imagined Senso-ji would be this crowded. I did know it fills up with worshippers around New Year and such, though. I guess there aren’t that many sightseeing spots in central Tokyo.

Age-manju, supposedly an Asakusa specialty
It’s a deep-fried red bean bun, and maybe because it was fresh out of the fryer, it tasted good. Looks extremely high in calories, though… They’re 100 yen each, and one is about right.
