This is the last of my Bali series. I’ve gathered some shots of Bali’s street scenes.
Swarms of motorbikes
There are seriously a lot of motorbikes. When you think of Bali it’s easy to picture a quiet, laid-back resort, but the town is absolutely nothing like that. I’d originally planned to rent a car and drive around once I got to Bali, but one look at the streets told me that was impossible. I’ve never been anywhere this hard to drive. It’s even worse than Korea..
The water god
There are lots of artistic stone statues all over town. You find them wherever you go. That struck me as very Bali.

I tried to get to the building right across the street, but there was no crosswalk. Pretty much OTL. Behind DFS there’s the Galleria shopping mall, which actually seemed better than DFS.

People ride their bikes really dangerously. Apparently accidents never stop. By the way, almost all the taxis in Bali were Kias.. When I asked a taxi driver, he said Kias are cheap and good ^_^

They say they get two harvests a year. Three is possible too, but apparently it wears out the soil.
