The waiting room before the reception had light snacks and drinks laid out. Bruschetta and a Campari orange (probably). The taste was so-so… but I really appreciated how much thought they’d put into keeping the wait from getting boring.
Outside the waiting room, Tokyo DisneySea’s afternoon show was going on.
I really wanted to ride one of those motorboats… ^_^ The show blended music, dancing and action.
The scale is huge, too. Well worth watching. Unlike Disneyland, DisneySea has big, flashy shows instead of parades – that’s its signature.
The shows happen not just out on the lake but all over the place.
With a show like this, I don’t think you’d begrudge the ticket price…
The reception dinner was a proper Italian full course. The taste was just okay… but the service was good.

I was surprised how authentically Italian it was for Disney. Not top-tier, but decent enough.
But more than the food, sharing it with good people in a happy atmosphere is what will make this a meal I remember for a long time.
