Next week is Golden Week, Japan’s long holiday, and I’ll pretty much be living in Tokyo anyway ^_^; so this week
I took pictures around where I live. Most of today’s shots were taken with the 31mm, and I didn’t retouch them
at all. Some people said the image quality was poor, so I made the photos bigger and didn’t compress
them.
I currently live in a place called Makuhari in Chiba, Japan. As for what kind of place it is,
well, it’s exactly this kind of place.
The countryside… fields spread out everywhere… the back of beyond. -_-;; Less a garden city than, how should I put it… inaka in Japanese,
and in Korean, literally sigol, the sticks. It’s about 10 minutes by bike from Kaihin-Makuhari, the tourist area.
Rent… it’s cheap… about 60-70% of Tokyo. That part is moving… everything else… meh…
The weather was really great today. I love days like this when the clouds float low. It’s like the sky feels closer…
It’s spring, so the blossoms are mostly gone and the trees are showing off their fresh green. This is the park right behind
my place, and it has a baseball field. It seems like wherever you go in Japan the baseball facilities are good. Though Chiba Lotte
seem to be struggling ^_^;
