I’ve been to the Adachi Museum of Art several times in the past. It’s way too far from where I live now, but every so often its works go on show somewhere else.

On the way

Hamamatsu Municipal Museum of Art

The Adachi Museum of Art exhibition was on, including works by Yokoyama Taikan. No photos allowed inside. Anyway, it wasn’t bad, though nothing really grabbed me personally; instead, it was a good way to get a feel for how modern Japanese art developed.

Starbucks

This Starbucks sits just below Hamamatsu Castle. There are a lot of really stylish Starbucks locations these days.

They look pretty good.
