Cheetahs is a crepe shop in Toyokawa. In terms of rankings, it’s probably top-tier.
The place looks like this
It’s a cafe made from a converted shipping container.
Cheetahs
The logo is cute.
The menu
As always, crepe shop menus have way too many options.
Oh look…
There are all sorts of cheetah drawings.
Zoom in
It’s quite kitschy.
Cafe space
There’s a small area where you can have a quick bite.
A cheetah here too
Almost gives off a Chanel vibe…
And another cheetah…
It definitely lives up to the name Cheetahs.
Strawberry Banana Chocolate Cream Crepe
They sell a crispy style of crepe very similar to Na Cafe. What surprised me most was how incredibly sweet the local strawberries were; I wondered where they sourced them from. Also, the generous amount of milky cream paired perfectly with the crispy base. The base is thicker than Na Cafe’s, so it has a nice chew to it, though I think Na Cafe takes the lead slightly in terms of pure crispiness.
Sugar Butter Crepe
The sugar butter crepe is made with Echire butter, and the flavor was rich even without any other toppings.
Crepe book
I saw Na Cafe and other famous local spots mentioned in here.
Description of Cheetahs
Japan publishes such a variety of books, and the quality is always top-notch.
Homemade Ginger Ale
I also bought a drink, and this was delicious too.
There are so many great hidden gems in this region. There are plenty of places to explore, making a local gourmet trip really fun.
