I heard there’s a new bakery in Sadang, so I decided to check it out.
The place
So many are popping up all over Seoul that it’s hard to keep up with them all. I usually just keep a list and visit whenever I happen to be in the area.
The breads
They looked decent.
Some desserts
They have a wide variety.
The breads
They sell all sorts of different breads.
Interior decor
Pretty ordinary.
Chausson aux pommes…
I couldn’t really taste anything special.
Bread
But this one was a bit disappointing.
Inside
As you can see if you look closely, they just threw the ingredients in whole without chopping them, making it hard to even tell what kind of bread it was. If you have to eat the bread and the ingredients separately, I don’t think you can really call this a walnut bread. The parts without the walnuts didn’t taste like walnut at all…
Other breads…
Other breads…
Overall, it was a letdown. I tend to visit small bakeries often, but I still hope they maintain a certain level of quality…
