I heard a new bakery had opened in Sadang, so I went to take a look.
The place
With new ones popping up all over Seoul, it is hard to keep up with them all. So I just make a note of them and drop by whenever one happens to be on my route.

I could not find anything distinctive about it.

This one, though, I was not so sure about.
The inside
If you look closely you can tell that the filling was not even chopped, just dropped in whole, so you cannot tell what kind of bread this is supposed to be. If you end up eating the bread and the filling separately, I do not think you can really call it a walnut bread. The parts that are not walnut taste nothing like walnut at all..

Overall it was not great. I go to small bakeries fairly often, but I do wish they would at least hit a certain level of quality..
