Kushitaro in Shinjuku

Kushitaro is a kushiyaki specialist with several branches around Shinjuku. I’ve been plenty of times already, so I’ll keep this one short.

We usually just order one of the assorted sets.

 

The yasai-batake (vegetable platter) looked pretty good too.

The older you get, the more vegetables you need to eat, they say… though you should eat plenty when you’re young too.

Hmm… it looked special so I gave it a try, but it was just okay.

Ate well enough this time too. As long as a bunch of middle-aged guys can eat and drink well for around 3,000 yen, we’re more than satisfied.
