Angel’s Share and Craft One, Yeonnam-dong

After leaving Jinjin we headed to Angel’s Share. Quite a few of us carried on to round two, and luckily that day we all managed to get in. It is such a tiny place that if a group of four or more wants to casually drop in for round two, it will have to warm up enough for the terrace seats to be usable.

Single malt whisky

Just a light one.

Mont Blanc

Out came the Mont Blanc we had missed at round one. Exactly the taste I remember from Japan.

After eating and drinking well at Angel’s Share, we moved on to Craft One for round three.

Craft One

It is near Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai. Being on the second floor, it is less conspicuous than you would expect.

The sampler

Pretty good beer at reasonable prices. Just this alone would have been more than enough.

Craft One’s burger

They said there was only one left, so I grabbed it right away. I had heard they had an all-meat burger and was looking forward to it, and one bite packs your mouth full. Not quite enough for a meal, but as a snack with beer it is the best.

I was so impressed that I took a shot of the cross section.

The bun had a unique texture too, maybe because there is potato in it. If you love burgers, you have to try it.

Fries ordered on the side

craft one

They tasted a bit different from the fries that came with the burger. Some overlap, but I enjoyed them anyway.

The menu

The atmosphere is so nice I would love to go often, but Gangnam to Yeonnam-dong is just too far. I guess I will need someone to invite me out.
