Raemian One Perla, I think it is called. Whenever a big complex like this goes up these days, a bakery always seems to open somewhere nearby. Maybe the rent inside is too high, so they end up just outside instead..

It is called Country Boy. Glance at it wrong and you might think the name is Bake Shop. Anyway, when I got there the line was long, so I had to wait a bit. A popular bakery has been born. With a place like this, you have to show up right at opening time if you want a good variety of bread.

They sell all sorts of sourdough. The prices are pretty reasonable too.

The explanation

They do not recommend slicing it, and once you eat it you understand why. It is baked in a light, crisp style. Lots of open crumb, I suppose you would say.. so once the moisture goes, it gets a little awkward to eat.
