Dessertrick is a famous dessert shop in Bupyeong. Though Arom Bake is probably the most well-known spot. The lines have gotten incredibly long lately as the hype for the “Dujjonku” cookies has grown.
The vibe here
But honestly, this isn’t even a long line; the lines at Arom Bake are several times longer than this.
Various desserts
Since it’s a dessert specialty shop, they have a huge variety, including plenty of options for takeout.
Kitty Madeleine
I’m not sure if they’re actually allowed to use Kitty… and the ribbon is in a slightly different spot… Anyway, looking at it, I wondered if it would actually taste okay, but it was delicious. The madeleine itself was great, and the chocolate coating paired with it better than I expected. I didn’t know this kind of dessert world existed…
Various desserts
They sell so much more than just the Dujjonku… seeing so many people lining up for a specialty shop like this makes me realize how much the dessert scene in Korea has evolved.
Towel cakes and more
Everything looks great, but it’s a shame I couldn’t try them all.
The atmosphere
The ribbon position is definitely different…
Interior
But since it’s so crowded, it didn’t really feel like the kind of place to sit and eat inside.
The vibe
The atmosphere is very cute and cozy.
Arom Bake
I shouldn’t even think about going there for a while… it was popular before, but not to this extent. It’s insane…
Dujjonku
I tried it, and while it’s tasty, I prefer Cafe in Oven. This one had a stronger crunch, whereas Cafe in Oven had a more rich, nutty flavor.
Jinbao
I snapped a photo while passing by; there are so many interesting restaurants popping up in Bupyeong.
