Dujjonku, the Dubai-style chewy cookie, suddenly started to blow up. I had no idea trends in Korea moved this fast. Anyway, there are shops that are said to do it well, but the recipe is simple in the end, so rather than trekking all the way to a famous place, I figured going somewhere good in my own neighbourhood would be just fine.

It almost feels like they tucked it at the back where you cannot really see it.. but they bring it out when you order..

It looks like it might be something, but I am not sure whether I will ever have a reason to go — a Chinese restaurant.

I ate one out on the street and it was so nutty and delicious. So this is why everyone keeps going on about dujjonku, I thought. This place in particular feels like they really know what they are doing.. I never imagined I would run into dessert of this level in Bupyeong.. and the fact that you do not even have to queue is great too.
