About 2 million won.. Honestly, in China only the cheap booze is cheap; it’s not a place you go to buy liquor.. If you want to buy liquor, Japan is the best..

Booze at the supermarket

I took this to compare prices later. Cheap liquor really is cheaper in China.. but the thing is, even at half the Korean price, the difference is only a few thousand to ten thousand won.. so is it really worth hauling back? Not really.. Cheap baijiu sold only in China might be worth it, but there isn’t much of that.. Everything famous has already made it to Korea..

I had no idea so many Japanese chuhai had made it over here..

It’s cooking oil. They hardly sell small bottles; that’s about the smallest size.. I guess it’s because they use plenty of oil even at home.. And it’s not just here, every supermarket is like this. China really is different..

The portions here are huge and the prices are cheap. It had the feel of a hidden gem. You can even eat the fruit you bought at the supermarket here, so if you stop by COCO Park, I recommend giving it a visit. I’d already eaten, so I just had a look around..
