Kwaemiwon is a place I just wandered into to get some food.
This kind of place
You pick your side dishes and pay by weight, and if you sign up as a member it gets a bit cheaper.
I got there late, so there wasn’t much left to eat..
It goes like this.
The side dishes
The main dishes were all gone, and when I checked later they had charged me very little..
Noodles and so on..
Scooped onto the plate..
Turns out it’s a place you need to get to a bit early.
Making dumplings..
Prices
Members get it a bit cheaper. One liang is 50 grams, and eating about 300 grams comes to around 5,000 won. It’s probably a bit of a raw deal for big eaters, but then again, paying for what you eat is what a buffet should be, I suppose..
The results on day two
There was pork trotter that day too, so I ate well, but taking this much got pretty expensive.. Still, health-wise, this beats eating noodles.
Steamed buns
It was just so-so..
