This is a shop called Ramraj that sells traditional clothing.
Roughly this kind of outfit..
India was once a British colony, and the traces of that still run deep. For example, there’s an industry that grows cotton and makes shirts from it, and that ties into the traditional dress, so people wear clothes like these for festivals, I was told.

What’s impressive is that even when the village is run-down, the religious buildings are done up this lavishly. India really is a country of religion.
