I heard a rumor that a good bakery had opened in Seochon, so I went to see for myself. Seoul changes so fast these days that it is hard to keep up.
The place
There was a bit of a wait.
Inside
Packed with people.
The breads
They really do know how to bake. But I turned up a little late, and just about everything worth buying was already gone. This place has far more to offer than what was left.
The notice
These are the times the bread comes out, and apparently most of it is done by the end of the morning.
Bagels
They sell plain, unfussy bagels here too.
Inside
This is everything that was left, all gathered together. If you are not on the ball, good bread is not easy to come by.
The part that matters, the taste, is better than average. It is good, but there are so many places doing bread well these days, and I did not get to try their signature items, so it is hard to judge. What I can say is that the looks are close to top tier. The prices are not bad either, so it is an easy place to drop by without overthinking it.
