A market has popped up at the apartment complex near where I live.
The vibe
It looked a bit ramshackle, but people are turning up in droves.
The vibe
There’s a playground for the kids too.
Like this..
There are skewers too.
Tents
An awful lot of people are drinking.

You can’t say no to hongeo-hoe (fermented skate sashimi)..
The vibe
It’s an ordinary apartment complex, so I had no idea this many people would gather here to eat and drink. There were even performances of a sort, and it was a fun event. Apparently it’s held regularly, so there must have been demand for it. This neighborhood is honestly a bit inconvenient if you want to go out for a drink, so there’s something to be grateful for in them coming to us. It feels very Korean, somehow..
