Sourdough seems to be the trend these days, with specialty shops popping up all over the place. As far as I’m concerned, bread I can happily eat instead of rice is always welcome.
Sourdough Lab
This is the place. Honestly, though, I’m not sure sourdough is necessarily tastier… well, I do think a bit of sourness makes bread nicer to eat.

The prices are decent for the size. Buy one of these and, if you pace yourself, it lasts a week, so at this price the value is very good.

The bakery room
Nice and roomy. Looks like a place that does things properly.

Cute little details.
Inside
Anyway, I bought a few loaves here, and they come across as a watered-down version of Tartine Bakery. But they are far cheaper too, so the value is outstanding. For anyone who eats bread instead of rice as their staple, I think this is a really good place to know.
