After thoroughly enjoying USJ and spending a night at a nearby hotel, I headed out in the morning. I was about to start sightseeing around the city, but first I stopped by the restaurants and goods shops in front of USJ. There is stuff inside USJ too, but even if you find something you like it is a hassle to carry it around all day, so this is the moment to buy your souvenirs.

Akashiyaki

Akashiyaki is the dish takoyaki originally came from, and it is much milder. That makes it good as a substitute for a rice meal too.

It is a set that lets you try a variety of takoyaki, and Kukuru really does make them well. Or maybe they are just good at it because this is Osaka. To eat the same thing over in Dotonbori you would have to queue for at least an hour, so eating it here was the right call.
